Houston Radio: KRBE Kicks Off ‘A Night In the Dog House’ Friday

Cumulus Media’s 104.1 KRBE, Houston’s #1 Hit Music station, joins Abandoned Animal Rescue (AAR) for its 5th annual ‘A Night in the Dog House’ fundraiser on Friday, November 4, 2022.

104.1 KRBE on-air personalities Audrey Rose and Kevin Quinn kick off the annual fundraiser with a live broadcast of their show from the AAR shelter in Magnolia, TX, from 3:00pm-7:00pm. AAR is a 100% volunteer-run organization and is in its 20th year of “Giving Paws a Helping Hand”. In 2021, AAR found homes for a total of 926 dogs and cats. November is Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month.

There will also be a live video stream on AAR’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/aartexas/), where supporters can keep up with Kevin and Audrey following their broadcast, as they spend the night in their designated kennel along with other volunteers. This year, 20 volunteers will get locked in decorated kennels with a pup for the night from 9:00pm Friday through 7:00am Saturday. All funds raised through the event will go directly to Abandoned Animal Rescue.

Kevin Quinn, On-Air Host, 104.1 KRBE, commented: “They say if you do what you love, it will never feel like hard work… Which is why we are so excited to partner with Abandoned Animal Rescue! A night in the Doghouse? To me, It’s gonna feel more like a night in the Ritz Carlton… If the Ritz Carlton made their guests drink water out of a bowl.”
