First Round Of Performers For CMAs Announced

The Country Music Association has just revealed its first round of performers for the 2021 CMA Awards, and the 10-act list includes its share of A-listers and promising collaborations, reports The Tennessean.

Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Dan + Shay, Brothers Osborne, Mickey Guyton and Jimmie Allen are among those set to perform on the Nov. 10 show, which will air live on ABC from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

Guyton will perform an unspecified song from her debut album, "Remember Her Name," alongside rising Nashville artists Brittney Spencer and Madeline Edwards.

Female Vocalist of the Year nominees Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde will sing their duet "Never Wanted To Be That Girl," which is featured on Pearce's "29: Written In Stone," an expanded version of Album of the Year nominee "29."

Shelton will sing his new single "Come Back as a Country Boy." Reigning Entertainer of the Year Church will perform "Heart on Fire," from his Album of the Year contender "Heart."

New Artist of the Year nominee Allen will sing "Freedom Was a Highway," and Dan + Shay are set to perform their 2020 single "I Should Probably Go to Bed." Brothers Osborne will give "a deeply personal performance," per the CMA, from their Album of the Year nominee "Skeletons."

Earlier this week, the CMA announced Luke Bryan will host the ceremony for the first time.

The 55th annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC at 7 p.m. CT Wednesday, Nov. 10.
