Chicago Radio: Charmaine Bey Expands Duties At WGCI-FM

iHeartMedia's WGCI 107.5 FM in Chicago announced today that Charmaine Bey will host “Inside The Midday with Charmaine Bey.”  “Inside The Midday with Charmaine Bey” will broadcast weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and  features Bey’s electric personality as well as entertainment news, live and local information and various show segments including “Hip Hop/R&B & Throwback Hits,” “The Charmaine Report,” “The Group Chat,” “The Rewind with DJ BG” and “Charmaine’s Last Minute.”

“Charmaine is a tremendous entertainment asset,” said Johnnie D. Glover, Program Director for 107.5 WGCI. “I am looking forward to Charmaine connecting with WGCI listeners both on the air and socially on a star-studded level as our new midday host.”

Bey joined 107.5 WGCI in 2016 while also holding a lead role in the VH1 reality television series “Black Ink Crew: Chicago.” She has cultivated a mass following across all of her social media platforms that has led her to work with top established brands. Bey is a seasoned radio personality whose credits include substantive interviews with artists including the late Nipsey Hussle, 2 Chainz, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, H.E.R., G Herbo, Bibby, Yo Gotti, and Jennifer Hudson. Before launching her entertainment career, she worked for CBS and Groupon. Bey is a Louisiana native and a graduate of Howard University.
