Z100's Elvis Duran To Host BFA Gala

Elvis Duran
WHTZ 100.3 FM Z100 Morning personality Elvis Duran will host the 2016 Golden Mike Award on February 29 in New York City honoring iHeartMedia’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bob Pittman.

In addition, Jarl Mohn, President and Chief Executive Officer of NPR, and John Sykes, President of iHeartMedia Entertainment Enterprises, will join the program as presenters, and Cam, country music’s newest breakout sensation, will provide entertainment. The annual black-tie gala is a major fundraiser for the Broadcasters Foundation of America, the only charity devoted exclusively to helping broadcasters in need.

During the evening, the Dick Clark Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to legendary broadcaster Charles Osgood, the Emmy Award winning anchor of CBS Sunday Morning.

The Broadcasters Foundation has distributed millions of dollars in aid to broadcasters who have lost their livelihood through a catastrophic event, debilitating disease, or unforeseen tragedy.

Donations can be made to the Foundation’s Guardian Fund and corporate contributions are accepted through the Angel Initiative. In addition, bequests can be made through the Foundation’s Legacy Society.  For more information, please visit www.broadcastersfoundation.org, call 212-373-8250, or email info@thebfoa.org.
