NYC Radio: iHM's Schnitt, Hardin Escape Injury In Car Accident

Todd Schnitt, Len Berman
Monday night was a rough, cold night for WOR 710 AM morning co-host Todd Schnitt and iHeartMedia SVP/Programming Brad Hardin.

The two were on a flight from Tampa to NYC when weather conditions forced their flight to be diverted to Syracuse.

To complete the trip, they got a Jeep rental and while driving to New York Monday night their car spun-out on I81 near upstate Binghamton, NY, a hundred+ miles from NYC.

As Schnitt tells it, the weaher was bad...he was doing 35-40 in the right lane, they were passed by a charter bus and started spinning hit the bus and took out a large section of guardrails. The bus stopped further down the road. No one was cited by police and luckily there were no injuries.

We hear the car was totaled.

The iHeartMedia personality is based in NYC and cohosts mornings with Len Berman.  He also hosts a syndicated evening show which airs on WFLA 970 AM in Tampa.

Schnitt and Hardin  found their way to iHM cluster in nearby Vestal NY.  Once there he had to wait in the cold for the morning shift at the cluster to let them in.  Once inside Schnitt made his broadcast to WOR via ISDN in a WINR 680 AM studio.
