OKC: Cumulus Debuts FUN 96.9 FM KQOB

Cumulus Media Oklahoma City announces the debut of a “FUN” new station, KQOB FUN 96.9 FM, a rock-leaning Classic Hits format featuring a mix of pop and rock hits from the `60s, `70s, and `80’s.

Core artists heard on FUN 96.9 FM include: The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, and Journey. FUN 96.9 FM hit the airwaves on Monday, December 28, 2015, at 6:00 a.m.

FUN 96.9 FM plays the greatest hits of all time, infused with live, local talent. Popular Oklahoma City personalities, Jack Elliot and Ron Williams host mornings from 6:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. 16-year market veteran Leo Cage brings listeners “FUN at Work” from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Longtime Oklahoma City personalities Inzinga and Spinozi (Phil Inzinga and Ron “Spinozi” Benton) anchor the “FUN Ride Home” from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Jon Fierce hosts “FUN After Dark” each week night from 7:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.
