DC Radio: PD Jan Jeffries OUT At WRQX 107.3 FM

To the surprise of no one in the radio industry, Jan Jeffries is no longer with Cumulus Media.

Jeffries has been a SVP/Corporate Programming for Cumulus and most recently programming HotAC WRQX 107.3 FM in Washington DC.  Jeffries spent four years programming  Classic Hits WLS 94.7 FM in Chicago.

Jeffries was relocated to DC in July 2015 because of ratings and revenue decline at WLS-FM.

Jeffries had been with Cumulus more than 18-years and is married to a Dickey and his departure was seen as 'just a matter of time'.

Jeffries also previously served as President of Stratford Research.

Cumulus EVP of Content & Programming Mike McVay says he is now accepting resumes.
