Idaho Falls Radio: Don Jarrett Is New PD At The Hawk

Don Jarrett will serve as the new program director and morning personality for KTHK-FM, 105-5 The Hawk, a Riverbend Communications radio station, according to idahostatejournal.com.

Jarrett was the midday personality on KUPI 99 and a morning personality on KQEO-FM, 107.1 FM The Arrow most recently.

“We conducted a nationwide search for talent and found the perfect fit for The Hawk right here in East Idaho,” said Operations Manager Mike Nelson. “Don has the energy and enthusiasm that perfectly matches the exciting things we have in store for The Hawk brand. I have no doubt he will make a huge impact here.”

Don Jarrett has spent the last 15 years of his radio career as a programmer and host for stations in Idaho, Oregon, and Utah, including KEGA-FM 101.5 The Eagle in Salt Lake City and KAWO-FM, WOW 104.3 in Boise. He is the recipient of five Idaho State Broadcasters Association “Radio Program of the Year” awards and three Utah Metro “Radio Personality of the Year” awards.
