Yahoo! Sports Radio Adds "Legendary Coaches"

Legendary Coaches, a weekly radio program hosted by noted sports broadcaster Chris Childers and featuring iconic NCAA coaches, will be heard on Yahoo! Sports Radio’s broadcast and digital platforms beginning February 13 as part of wider-ranging deal with KMG Networks, a division of Krantz Media Group, and Hill Entertainment, the program’s producer.

The arrangement expands the current two-hour broadcast to include the addition of a Monday through Friday feature, podcasts, and the embedding of audio content throughout the entire Yahoo! Sports Radio platform. Advertisers will have access to the programming through an extended exclusive arrangement with AdLarge Media, the ad sales solutions company that represents Yahoo! Sports Radio.

Legendary Coaches takes an inside look into the world of NCAA college football and provides insights into coaches’ decisions, current season and play-off implications, and what it’s like to be on the sideline when the strategy isn’t playing out as expected.

It is currently heard on several radio stations, including Cromwell Broadcasting’s The Game, 102.5 and 94.9 in Nashville.

Iconic coaches such as Phillip Fulmer and Gene Stallings, as well as Vince Dooley, RC Slocum, Houston Nutt, and Jerry Stovall, will bring a unique perspective of the interaction with players, fans, schools, and media and the pressures on a coach during a football season.

“We are very excited to add Legendary Coaches to our lineup,” said David Gow, Chief Executive Officer of Yahoo! Sports Radio and Gow Broadcasting. “This is riveting content that engages passionate sports radio listeners.”
