WABC 770 AM announces that it will debut its newest talk radio show, “The Bernie and Sid Show”, today from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m ET.

The new show brings together a dynamic duo of talk radio hosts, Bernard “Bernie” McGuirk and Sid Rosenberg, in two hours of passionate conversation about New York’s biggest topics, the nation biggest topics, incredible guests, and interaction with great New York listeners.

McGuirk is the executive producer of the Imus in the Morning radio program and an on-air personality on the Imus show. He was born and raised in the South Bronx, New York, where he worked in his younger years as a taxi driver. He has worked in radio and television since 1986, after he graduated from College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York. He will continue his role with the Imus in the Morning radio show, in addition to his work on “The Bernie and Sid Show”. McGuirk is a frequent guest on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor”.

Rosenberg started his venerable radio career on “The Drive,” heard on SportsLineUSA.com. The show eventually moved to broadcast radio, and was syndicated nationally in more than 40 markets by SportsFan and Westwood One. He also co-hosted the NFL Today pre-game show heard nationally on Westwood One for three seasons. Rosenberg co-hosted “The Sports Guys,” heard mornings on legendary radio station 102.7 WNEW FM. Later, Rosenberg hosted middays with Jody McDonald and later, with Joe Benigno on WFAN in New York City. He also did sports on the “Imus in the Morning” program through 2005. Rosenberg moved to South Florida working at 790 The Ticket and Miami’s WQAM-560 AM. He also worked as morning drive-sports reporter for 1010-WINS New York and recently hosted morning drive on 640 AM Sports/WMEN in Royal Palm Beach, FL.

  1. The repeated pouring of draft beer sound effect every few minutes on St. Patrick's Day grew old very quickly as did Bernie And Sid's comments.

  2. Very confusing show and a bad excuse for humor. Bernie should go to wabc and I'm sure someone will hire Sid for commercials on fake tans shaved gray hair and body building as long as he doesn't have to speak

  3. The Bernard and Cid show should be in the hours of 1 AM to 4 AM. They have no class, and are filthy as the gutters of NYC. Bernard is not so bad, but Cid shows where he comes from. I have switched my radio to a different station while they are on. I'm sure others have, or will soon too. They seem to be getting worse, and more daring everyday.
