DejaVu Will Host NAB Marconi Awards

New York urban radio host DejaVu will emcee the 2026 NAB Marconi Radio Awards on Oct. 20 at the Edison Ballroom in Manhattan, the night before NAB Show New York. 

The ceremony, often called radio’s biggest night, honors stations, personalities, podcasts, and industry leaders.  Reception is set for 6 p.m. ET, with dinner and the show at 7 p.m.  Finalists were announced in July. 

DejaVu hosts middays on MediaCo’s WBLS (107.5) in New York and is nationally syndicated by Compass Media Networks. She also appears on “Live With Kelly and Mark” and works as a motivational speaker and mental-health advocate.

DJ Scratch returns to entertain for a fifth year. Presenters include Ryan Fox, host of “American Country Countdown” and a finalist for Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year, and Anne Kramer, afternoon anchor at Hubbard’s WTOP-FM in Washington. 

Joel Oxley, president and general manager of Hubbard Radio Washington, will receive the NAB National Radio Award. Oxley has led WTOP and Federal News Network for decades and plans to retire in early 2027 after nearly 35 years with the company.  NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt cited his work in local journalism, innovation, and public service. Under Oxley, WTOP has been one of the nation’s top-billing and most awarded news stations. 

Legendary Station of the Year finalists are KFI-AM Los Angeles, WCBS-FM New York, WIVK-FM Knoxville, WJR-AM Detroit, and WLW-AM Cincinnati. 

The Marconi Awards, named for inventor Guglielmo Marconi and first presented in 1989, recognize excellence across local and national radio.
