L-A Radio: KABC Renews The John Phillips Show


Cumulus Media announces that it has renewed its popular afternoon talk radio program, “The John Phillips Show” in a new multi-year agreement. Hosted by John Phillips and Randy Wang, the show can be heard on Cumulus News/Talk stations 790 KABC-AM in Los Angeles and 810 KSFO-AM in San Francisco weekdays from 12:00pm Noon-3:00pm.

Host John Phillips brings wit, political connections, and insight to “The John Phillips Show.” An Orange County native, Phillips began his radio career as the youngest major-market radio talk show host in the country. He is also a columnist for the Orange County Register and the Los Angeles Daily News and makes regular appearances on cable news. Phillips was formerly a sports anchor and executive producer for “McIntyre in the Morning”, producer for “The Al Rantel Show”, and writer for “KNX Morning News” with Frank Mottek and Gail Eichenthal.

Randy Wang, Co-Host, “The John Phillips Show,” is a two-time Golden Mic Award-winning broadcaster. He also hosts the “KABC News Blitz” featuring local L.A. news every Monday through Friday from 5:00pm-6:00pm on 790 KABC-AM.
