| 97.5 The Fanatic hosts Bill Colarulo and Ricky Bottalico |
WPEN 97.5 The Fanatic is launching Unfiltered with Ricky Bo and Bill Colarulo, a new afternoon show starting Monday.
The show will hosted by Bill Colarulo, a former lawyer turned sports talker, and NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Ricky Bottalico. The show, featuring producer Sylvana Kelleher and regular guests like Amy Fadool Kane and Eagles insider Andrew DiCecco, replaces Tyrone Johnson.
Colarulo, who joined The Fanatic less than two years ago after starting at JAKIB Media, has been co-hosting with Mike Missanelli since August. “I learned a lot and had fun,” Colarulo said Tuesday.
“I’m hoping to carry that over to the afternoon.” Program director Scott Masteller praised Colarulo’s chemistry with Bottalico and his ability to connect with listeners and guests, noting, “Bill is really good at making people feel comfortable.”
Producer Connor Thomas, previously filling in for afternoons, returns to mornings, while Missanelli continues hosting the midday show with Ray Dunne. The launch coincides with Colarulo’s birthday.
