Cumulus Launches New 'Your Music Plus' Audio Feature

Cumulus Media announces the launch Monday of the latest installment of its exclusive multi-part audio series, Your Music Plus, featuring stories behind the making of Coldplay’s new single, “We Pray,” featuring Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna, and Tini. The song is from Coldplay’s upcoming album, Moon Music, out on Atlantic Records on October 4th.

The audio feature shares with listeners behind the scenes stories and insights from Coldplay’s Chris Martin into the making of the band’s highly anticipated new music and “We Pray,” which had its live premiere in the band’s monumental Glastonbury 2024 headline set and is the second song to be released from Moon Music. The Your Music Plus feature will run for eight weeks on Cumulus Media’s CHR stations across the U.S.

Greg Frey, VP of Music Partnerships, Cumulus Media, said: “Global superstars, Coldplay, are back with an uplifting anthem for a complicated world. Having “We Pray” as the next Your Music Plus campaign, and our first for Cumulus’ CHR stations, is an honor. During this Your Music Plus run, listeners will also hear directly from Coldplay’s Chris Martin about how the song was created along with fascinating insights on what it means to retain humanity and compassion in difficult times. Cumulus Media is proud to partner on this with our friends at Atlantic Records.”

"Atlantic Records is thrilled to partner with Cumulus Media on the launch of global superstar Coldplay's highly anticipated new single "We Pray" f. Burna Boy,” said Atlantic Records EVPs of Promotion, John McMann and Jon Lewis. "We are excited to reach their fans nationwide utilizing the enormous reach of Cumulus' powerful network of radio stations."

Your Music Plus highlights new music in a unique way by sharing with radio listeners the thoughts of the biggest stars in different formats in a series of revealing and exclusive vignettes across AC, Alternative, CHR, Country, Hot AC, Rock and Urban formats. The shows feature artist commentary on the song, with artists presenting different aspects of their song’s personal meaning, the inspiration behind the music, and insights on their life and career.
