Gridiron Network, LLC unveiled its 2023 college football broadcast schedule today. The eleven-game slate features some of the biggest brand-names in college football, including: Alabama; Clemson; Florida; Florida State; Notre Dame; Tennessee; and BYU. The broadcast will be available to radio stations across the country through Westwood One’s Wegener receivers.
“We are proud of the schedule that we’ve put together for this season,” Gridiron Network President & General Manager Noah Britt said. “Saturdays in the fall are for college football, and we’re going to bring the excitement of some of the biggest ACC and SEC games to listeners across the country.”
Britt will serve as the play-by-play announcer for the entire broadcast schedule. The primary color analyst will be Jon Reynolds, a former scout with the Cincinnati Reds. Heisman Trophy winner Danny Wuerffel will serve as the color analyst on select games. Sideline reporters will include longtime sports broadcasters Jason Crowder (Mississippi State); Kurt Kretzschmar; and Patrick Johnson (East Carolina).
Starting on September 23, Gridiron Network’s slate begins with the first of four games originating from Clemson’s Memorial Stadium as the Tigers host Florida State. Gridiron Network will deliver the exclusive national radio feed for three other Clemson home games against Wake Forest (October 7); Notre Dame (November 4); and North Carolina (November 18).
Four Southeastern Conference games include the biggest band-names in the all of college football, including Florida at Kentucky (September 30); Missouri @ Kentucky (October 14); Tennessee at Kentucky (October 28); and Alabama @ Kentucky (November 11).
Also on the schedule, a Big 12 matchup as BYU welcomes Texas Tech to Provo. Troy hosts South Alabama in the only Thursday night game on the slate. The schedule concludes with a battle for the Commonwealth Cup as Virginia hosts Virginia Tech.
