Bill Handel To M-C Radio Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony


The Museum of Broadcast Communications announced today that Bill Handel, KFI 640 AM on-air personality and host of nationally syndicated radio program Handel On The Law, the syndicated radio program, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the 2022 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Handel is a 2017 Inductee in the Radio Hall of Fame. The Radio Hall of Fame will recognize its 2022 class of inductees at the in-person 2022 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Tuesday, November 1st, at Chicago’s Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel.

The induction ceremony and dinner will also feature messages prepared for the event by Ryan Seacrest, Donnie Simpson, Jim Kerr, Tom Joyner, Mike Francesa, Stephen A. Smith, Rick Cummings, Beth Bacall, and Charlie Cook.

One of the top Talk radio personalities in the U.S., Bill Handel is host of the nationally syndicated program Handel on the Law, as well as the top-rated Los Angeles morning show on KFI AM 640, The Bill Handel Show. Handel has received numerous industry awards and was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009. He was also recognized with a Marconi Award in 2005 for “Major Market Personality of the Year” and has received three Radio & Records Awards for “Local News/Talk/Sports Personality of the Year”. Today, Handel continues to dominate morning radio on KFI AM 640 with The Bill Handel Show, discussing the day’s headlines coupled with his commentary, humor, and legal perspective.

The Radio Hall of Fame was founded by the Emerson Radio Corporation in 1988. The Museum of Broadcast Communications took over operations in 1991.
