Key Networks To Rep Paulus-Shomby Country Consultancy


Key Networks, a next generation syndication company serving the radio industry, announces that it has entered into an agreement with Radio’s Fresh Eyes to represent the radio culture and leadership consultancy’s services to stations for cash or barter. 

Led by respected industry executives Dave Paulus and John Shomby, Radio’s Fresh Eyes works with radio groups of all sizes to create a dominant and unparalleled employee culture, giving stations actionable steps to a winning culture.

Dave Paulus
A 35-year broadcaster, Dave Paulus understands that great leaders motivate their teamwith clear direction and a mission that builds loyalty and performance. He has run successful station groups across the U.S. and with John Shomby, developed the Max Media cluster in Virginia Beach into strong brands with a winning culture. Paulus is past president of the Virginia Association of Broadcasters and in 2018, received the CT Lucy Award from the organization for lifetime broadcast excellence.

John Shomby has programmed multiple formats, local and syndicated, for over 40 years. He has overseen the launches of stations in markets including Augusta, Flint, Birmingham, Portland, Dallas, Honolulu and Norfolk/Virginia Beach, building team culture from the ground up to deliver success. 

Based in Nashville, TN, Shomby coaches and mentors radio programmers and on-air talent to help them grow and develop inside the radio station and within the radio industry.

In addition, he has developed “Radio 101 Boot Camp” a training program for new Country artists to help guide them through their radio tours and make the most of their engagement with stations. 

Shomby is an 11-year member of Nashville’s Leadership Music organization and has served on the Country Radio Broadcasters’ Board of Directors since 2005 and as the sitting Vice President since 2019.
