Tampa Radio: WHPT Extends Deal With Talker Mike Calta

WHPT 102.5 The Bone, a Cox Media Group station, has announced a multi-year contract extension with on-air talent Mike Calta. Calta will continue his role as host of Tampa’s number one morning drive talk show – The Mike Calta Show – weekdays from 6 to 10 a.m.

“I’m excited to call both Tampa Bay and CMG my home and my family for the next couple of years and hopefully plenty more beyond that” says Calta. “This is where The Mike Calta Show was born and we are excited to watch it continue to grow!”

Originally from Staten Island, New York, Mike Calta transplanted to the Tampa market in 1989 and joined 102.5 The Bone family in 2007. Since then, The Mike Calta Show has entertained its listeners with fun, unique and compelling content.
