Houston Radio: A J Hoffman Promoted To PD At Sports KFNC

Gow Media appoints A.J. Hoffman as Program Director of Sports KFNC ESPN 97.5 in  Houston.

He has a strong track record as an air talent and currently co-hosts "The Blitz" in afternoons with Fred Faour. Hoffman will continue with The Blitz while assuming the additional duties of Program Director.

"We are excited to elevate AJ to the PD position," said ESPN 97.5 General Manager Todd Farquharson. "He has demonstrated excellent programming instincts, and we think his experiences and leadership abilities make him a natural for this opportunity."

"This is an exciting opportunity for me," added Hoffman. "Jong Lee has done a fantastic job leading the programming here the past several years and I look forward to continuing to grow our on-air product. We have a really strong lineup - the best in the city - so we are poised for a great run."

"In the fall of 2017, we committed to a nearly all local lineup," said Farquharson. "We were able to bring back Lance Zierlein, reuniting John and Lance in the mornings, and insert Charlie Pallilo in middays. With this talented group, our audience totals are up 50% year-over-year."
