NJ Radio: Anne Gress To Program WKXW

Veteran radio programming Anne Gress is the new brand manager for Townsquare Media’s talk WKXW New Jersey 101.5, based in Trenton.

She takes over for longtime station programmer Eric Johnson, who exited the station at the end of 2017 to become the director of sports content for Beasley Media Group’s WPEN-FM, Philadelphia.

Gress – who has worked in the Philly market at such stations as Classic Hits WOGL,  hot AC WYXR, smooth jazz WJJZ and  hip hop WUSL says, “I’m genuinely excited to join the team at Townsquare Media and ‘NJ 101.5.’  Their unique format, rock star staff, and consistently strong ratings make this an irresistible opportunity.  I look forward to adding my voice to their highly successful model.”

While at CBS Radio's WOGL, Gress took the classic hits station from 14th place A25-54 to 4th place in the first year. Transitioned from “Oldies” format to “Greatest Hits” format without losing audience share. Revamped AM Drive to become award-winning show (R&R Best Classic Hits Morning show and PAB Best Morning Show).  2012 and 2014 NAB Marconi award winner for “Classic Hits Station of the Year.”
