Entercom Philadelphia rings in the holiday season with the 16th annual WOGL 98.1 FM Loves Our Kids Radiothon, sponsored by Philadelphia-area Mazda dealerships and benefiting patient care programs at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The radiothon will take place on Thursday, December 7 starting at 6:00 a.m. through Friday, December 8 at 7:00 p.m.
“Every year we are overwhelmed by the generosity our listeners, fans and clients who donate to help the kids at Children’s Hospital and make the WOGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon one of our most successful fundraisers of the year,” said David Yadgaroff, Entercom Philadelphia’s Senior Vice President and Market Manager. “The Radiothon is near and dear to the team at 98.1 WOGL and we’re thrilled to help put smiles on the faces of the kids and families at CHOP.”
The Radiothon will be anchored by WOGL-FM’s on-air personalities, Marilyn Russell, Harvey Holiday and Nicky G., and will include the participation of on-air personalities from 98.1 WOGL’s sister stations, WXTU-FM 92.5, WTDY-FM Today’s 96.5, WIP-FM 94.1, WPHT-AM 1210 and KYW-AM 1060.
The event will be broadcast live from Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s "Seacrest Studios," in the Colket Atrium of Children’s Hospital. The Radiothon will wrap up on Friday, December 8 with a check presentation from 98.1 WOGL to the Children’s Hospital.

WOGL 98.1 on-air personalities will continue to accept donations Saturday and Sunday through special events. Funds raised through Children's Miracle Network (CMN) are earmarked at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for patient care programs.
