Impact Radio Group has announced the promotion of James Garner to Program Director for the group’s Hot AC,
KZMG My102.7 FM in addition to his duties as PD for flagship AdultHits
KSRV 96.1 BOB-FM. The move goes into effect immediately.
Garner joined Impact Radio Group in July of 2007 serving as the company’s Production Director. Over the last ten years Garner has added additional duties and titles to his resume. Promoted to Program Director in March of 2014, Garner has led KSRV through several successful Nielsen books. “It was a no brainer that James would be the guy to take on our Hot AC with the amount of success he has had behind the wheel of BOB-FM”, said CEO Darrell Calton.
Calton said, “James Garner has been involved from the start. He has seen this market and this company at both their best and worst of times. He is one of the players that have consistently worked with us to really build something special and is no stranger to hard work. We are really excited to see where James goes with My102.7.

Garner will take over the afternoon show from newly minted KWYD PD Curtis Booker on July 3rd. That date also marks Garner’s tenth anniversary with the company.
