Worcester Radio: WXLO's Jen Carter Honored As Best

Cumulus Media jas announced that Jen Carter, Co-Host of the XLO Morning Show on WXLO 104.5 FM in Worcester, MA, has been recognized as “Best Radio Personality” in Worcester Magazine’s Best of Worcester 2017 special issue.

Carter has been Co-Host of the XLO Morning Show since 2000, and is active in the community through charitable organizations including: MetroWest, the Humane Society, the American Diabetes Association and the Shine Initiative. Worcester Magazine’s Best of Worcester Awards are determined by readers who vote for their local favorites each year. 104.5 WXLO has been honored by the magazine as Best of Worcester “Radio Station of the Year” previously, and has been nominated on many occasions.

Lance Ballance, Operations Manager, Cumulus Media-Worcester/Boston, and Program Director of 104.5 WXLO, said: “The cash prize is considerably less than the Nobel Prize, but we are ecstatic for Jen, nonetheless! Seriously, we are so proud and excited for her.”
