Cleveland Radio: iHM Re-Ups With WMMS' Rover

Shane 'Rover" French
iHeartMedia/Cleveland  has renewed and extended its agreement with 40-year-old Rover (aka Shane French), the host of "Rover's Morning Glory," a morning show syndicated across several markets. Rover will continue to host the program, which broadcasts weekdays from 6-11am on affiliates in key markets, including its flagship station WMMS 100.7 FM in Cleveland, OH.

"We've had a blast working with iHeartMedia since 2008 to expand and grow the show," said Rover. "In the coming months we'll enter the next phase of Rover's Morning Glory-something BIG that's never been tried in radio before. As the saying goes...stay tuned."

"We could not be more excited to reach an agreement to keep Rover's Morning Glory on WMMS in Cleveland and other iHeartMedia stations across the country," said iHM President-Midwest/Southeast Division Tom McConnell. "He's a very unique talent who has an unparalleled connection to his listeners and local communities."

Rover's Morning Glory's reach also includes the RMG-TV live videocast of the show, which streams daily on the interactive www.RoverRadio.com and the RMG mobile app.

In May 2014, Rover pleaded guilty to four misdemeanors following a July 2014 incident with a police officer.  French's guilty plea came after Cuyahoga County prosecutors agreed to dismiss felonies involving his  confrontation with the off-duty officer July 5 at a Whiskey Island marina.
