Entercom Los Angeles’ Classic Rock KSWD 100.3 FM The Sound has announced that legendary radio personality, Cynthia Fox, will be on air during the afternoon drive from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. PT.

Fox joins Entercom under a multi-year agreement and will be on air among a powerful roster of iconic classic rock radio deejays including Uncle Joe Benson and Rita Wilde. Fox has a longstanding history in rock radio. The Los Angeles native began her career at the age of 18 at the iconic KMET-FM “The Mighty Met” in the 1970’s.

“Cynthia is a true icon of classic rock in the Los Angeles area, so she belongs on The Sound,” said David Beasing, Program Director, 100.3 The Sound.

“Having Cynthia join legendary DJs Uncle Joe Benson and Rita Wilde on The Sound is part of our long-term strategy to deliver the kind of exciting FM rock radio that listeners grew up with,” said Peter Burton, Vice President and General Manager, 100.3 The Sound.

“I am very grateful to be working at The Sound,” said Cynthia Fox. “This is a quality team of talented radio people and I am looking forwarding to sharing what I have learned through music and great teamwork with our listeners.”
