Reno Radio: Kara Brown New GM For Times-Shamrock Cluster

Times-Shamrock/Reno has announced Kara Brown has been named General Manager at Times-Shamrock Reno/Sparks, Nevada, cluster.

She will report to Mitch Dolan, COO, Times-Shamrock Radio & Outdoor.   She replaceds John Burkavage has been GM of the Reno cluster for the past four years. He announced his retirement earlier this month.

The cluster includes Alternative KRZQ 104.1 FM, Classic Rock KOZZ Z105.7 FM, Top40 KWNZ 106.3 POP-FM and News KNEZ 107.3 FM.

Brown has spent the majority of her 21 year broadcast career in Reno. Prior to joining Times-Shamrock’s Reno group in 2012 as Director of Sales, Brown held a similar position at Wilks Broadcasting’s Reno cluster.
