Mobile Radio: So.'Bama Sports Inks Deal With CCM+E

South Alabama football, as well as its men's basketball and baseball, will have a new radio home this season.

The university announced a new contract this morning with Lite Mix WMXC 99.9 FM Lite Mix as the radio home for Jaguar football games and NewsRadio WNTM 710 AM for broadcasts of men's basketball and baseball games. This marks a departure from sports radio station WNSP 105.5 FM, which was the home of Jaguar football its first five seasons and men's basketball and baseball for several years.

The contract with Clear Channel Media + Entertainment provides for live coverage of all games involving the three Jaguar sports programs noted. The program's coaches' shows will also air on 710 AM.

South Alabama and Clear Channel Media + Entertainment signed a three-year agreement with the respective radio stations that includes options to extend the contracts at the conclusion of the three-year period.

Every South Alabama athletics broadcast will be available worldwide on all mobile devices at no charge via the Clear Channel Media + Entertainment's iHeartRadio platform, including iHeartRadio.com.
