Cox said: “It’s been an incredible journey, 45 years of doing what I love - who gets to say that? I have been fortunate to work with fantastic people throughout my career; especially my good friend and mentor Mike McVay, who has always been there for me. I also want to thank Market Manager Sommer Frisk for her support over the last seven years in Oxnard/Ventura. Now I’ll have time to learn a new guitar riff. Smoke On The Water is getting old.”
