Fox Corporation is gearing up to launch Fox One, its new direct-to-consumer streaming service, on August 21, 2025. Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced during a Tuesday investor call that the service will be priced at $19.99 per month.
The service aims to bring together Fox’s full portfolio of news, sports, and entertainment content into a single platform, targeting cord-cutters and cord-nevers (those who have never subscribed to traditional pay-TV).
Comprehensive Fox Portfolio: Fox One will include live streaming and on-demand access to Fox’s major brands, such as:
- News: Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Weather.
- Sports: Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, Big Ten Network (BTN), Fox Deportes, and NFL/college football broadcasts.
- Entertainment: Programming from the Fox broadcast network and local Fox stations.
- Fox Nation Bundle: Subscribers can opt to bundle Fox Nation, Fox’s existing streaming service, within the platform.
The service will feature advanced personalization technology to tailor content to user preferences, seamlessly integrating live and on-demand content for a cohesive viewing experience.
With a launch timed for the NFL season (kicking off September 4, 2025) and college football (starting August 23, 2025), Fox One will heavily emphasize sports, including NFL games, MLB, LIV Golf, and Big Ten NCAA content.
Fox One is designed for viewers outside the traditional pay-TV bundle, aiming to capture those who have cut the cord or never subscribed to cable. Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch emphasized that the service is not intended to cannibalize existing cable subscribers, who will receive access to Fox One at no additional cost.
