Ft. Collins Radio: OM Lance Tidwell EXITS Townsquare

Townsquare Media/Ft. Collins, CO OM Lance Tidwell has resigned his position, where he has been overseeing Country KUAD, Hot AC KKPL, Classic Hits KTRR and Alternative KMAX for the past six months.

Tidwell said he will be taking time to visit with family in the Atlanta area while he considers his next opportunity.  Previously OM for Cumulus in Kansas City, radio resume includes an SVP/Programming role for iHeartMedia in the Tucson and San Antonio markets, plus serving as PD for Country WWYZ in Hartford, KKWF in Seattle, KQFC in Boise and WGKX in Memphis.

Tidwell said, "After a lot of time and consideration, I have made a decision to resign my position as OM for Townsquare/Northern Colorado."

"Many friends in the industry have followed my former wife's battle with Stage 3B Colon cancer and know there have been some very challenging times these past few years. And, yet, I am in such a great place today [with] so much clarity [and] direction on the heels of a challenging chapter. This was a difficult decision but the right one. "

He went on to thank Bob Freeman, Kurt Johnson and thanked Bob Freeman, Kurt Johnson and Townsquare/Northern Colorado President/Market Evan Harrison and the Townsquare team.
