Centennial Broadcasting II L.L.C. has announced programming changes coming to two of their stations serving the Winchester, Virginia market. The company has been airing a Country Legends format, known as True Apple Country B105, as a two signal simulcast on WZFC 104.9 and WXBN 105.5. that simulcast has ended.

WZFC 104.9 FM (4.1 Kw)
The Country Legends format continues on WXBN; however  WZFC is now simulcasting the programming of sister station NewsTalk 1400 WINC, known locally as NewsTalk 1400. NewsTalk 1400 WINC is the Winchester and Shenandoah Valley home for talk shows from conservative hosts including Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

“Centennial Winchester is excited about the prospects of extending the reach of our highly regarded NewsTalk 1400 station programming further south in the Shenandoah Valley utilizing the powerful WZFC signal,” commented Market Manager Larry Weiss, adding “this move will allow us to extend the news talk brand, including our roster of well-established national hosts, south of Winchester into the Warren and Shenandoah County areas.”

Mike Herald, Operations Manager and Robert Allen, News Director will continue in their current positions after the new simulcast debuts. Locally, Centennial Broadcasting also operates regional Adult Contemporary giant 92.5 WINC FM, which serves both the Winchester and Leesburg (Loudoun County) markets.
