Seattle Radio: PD Mike Preston To Exit Entercom

After seven years as Program Director of Entercom's Country KKWF 100.7 FM The Wolf)/Seattle, Mike Preston will exit on exit on February 28.

During his tenure there, he also launched Rhythmic AC KHTP Hot 103.7 FM. Preston will remain through the month and Entercom/Seattle VP/Programming Dave Richards will oversee both stations in the interim. He joined KKWF in 2009 from CBS Radio with over eleven years as a senior programmer in Seattle and San Francisco.

"The great singer Sheryl Crow once said 'A Change Would Do You Good' and for me, that's an appropriate theme song. That's because after a little more than 7 years at Entercom Seattle, I'm ready for a change," said Preston. "I'm very proud of what my teams have accomplished, making The Wolf the top country brand in the market and putting our newest brand, HOT 103.7, on the map in a big way."

Preston's past programming stints include VP/Programming of KCBS-AM, KMVQ-FM, and KLLC-FM/San Francisco and CBS VP/CHR Programming and PD of KBKS-FM/Seattle.
