TX Radio: Matt Ganssle Named PD At KYKX

Alpha Media East Texas announced Friday Matt Ganssle, has been named Program Director of Country KYKX 105.7 FM in Longview, TX.

‘Phat’ Matt Ganssle is a country boy. Born in the Appalachians, he planted the seeds of his radio career in California’s San Joaquin Valley. His journey has taken him into the core programming teams at KPLX/Dallas, KBWF/San Francisco, KKWF/Seattle, among others. Most recently he was the Operations and Program Director of the ACM-Nominated KSJJ/Bend. Under his leadership, KSJJ achieved record-high double-digit ratings success.

Matt has also contributed to the ACM Award-winning image production heard at KUPL/Portland and CMT ‘After MidNite.’ In his spare time, he enjoys riding bulls and all-things rodeo.
