PA #Radio: Alpha Media's Jeffrey D. Wine On National TV

Jeffrey D. Wine
Alpha Media, Chambersburg, PA, /Hagerstown, MD, announced Creative Services Director, Jeffrey D. Wine, is making two upcoming national TV appearances on AMC and Lifetime Movie Network.

Wine is CSD for Alpha's WIKZ-FM, WQCM-FM, WCHA/WHAG and WDLD in the Chambersburg Pa-Hagerstown MD Market.

Scott Mahalick, Alpha Media’s Executive Vice President added, “We are very proud of Jeff. His creativity transcends across all media, I can’t wait to see the broadcast!”

He portrays mob underboss, Willie Moretti, in the AMC 8-part mini-series “The Making of the Mob: New York.” He made a brief appearance in episode 5 standing alongside the character of Frank Costello. Provided his scenes haven’t been cut, Wine says he hopes to appear in future episodes. “I filmed four scenes and had a few lines, including a rather lengthy speech in one of the courtroom scenes. Hopefully all of the scenes – and my lines! – made it into the final cut,” says Wine. Regardless, he says it was an incredibly rewarding experience. Most of the filming took place in and around Martinsburg, WV – about 10 minutes from his residence and 45 minutes from his Alpha Media office, making it convenient to work around his schedule.

He also has a small role of minister/exorcist Bill Bean in the new 6-part series “I Was Possessed”, currently airing on Lifetime Movie Network. Wine says his episode will air Saturday, July 25th, at 10PM EST.

Wine is no stranger to acting. He has performed in or directed over 100 theatrical productions. In 2007, he began his foray into the world of TV and film, starting as an extra on the HBO series, “The Wire.” He has also had roles in several crime re-enactment series. In fact, this week he is filming scenes as a prisoner in an episode of the I.D. Channel series, “Evil Kin.” In eight years, he has amassed over 25 national TV and independent film credits, most of which can be viewed on his Internet Movie Database page (www.imdb.com) under J.D. Wine.

He would like to thank his Alpha Media family for their support. “I’d especially like to thank mid-day personality, Courtney Foxx, as she is the one who usually fills in for me when I have to take a vacation day to be on set,” remarked Wine.
