Rayman Enright
Radio personality Ray 'Raymasn' Enright, known for his knowledge of and love for 1950s and ’60s music,  has retired after about 20 years in the business, Townsquare Media announced Tuesday, according to The News-Tribune.

Enright, afternoon host on KLDJ 101.7 FM Kool, is featured in a goodbye video on the station’s website where he said he would miss the listeners most.

“After an amazing rock ’n’ roll ride with Kool 101.7, I’ve decided it’s time to hang up the headphones,” Rayman said in the video. “But before I do, I want to say thank you for letting me into your lives and have fun and play some of the best music ever made.

“I’ll miss you, baby.”

According to his bio on the station’s website, Rayman’s first gig was in talk radio on WEBC 560 AM in 1995. He joined the staff at Kool 101.7 in 1998 and took over the afternoon drive shift in 2001.

Enright received a lifetime achievement award from the Minnesota Rock and Country Hall of Fame in the mid-2000s. He is a Cleveland native who was raised in Duluth.
