DC Radio: CBS Radio To Relocate Studios

CBS Radio Inc. has reached a deal to shift its regional operations from Lanham to Washington, D.C., where it will join the National Labor Relations Board at 1015 Half St. SE., according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

The Prince George's County offices are home to WNEW-99.1 FM, which recently  adjusted its news-talk format to include Baltimore coverage, as well as sports-talk 106.7-FM WJFK 106.7 FM/1580-AM.

The broadcaster on April 11 signed a lease for 33,042 square feet on the second floor of 1015 Half, a 10-story building that has sat vacant since it was developed roughly two years ago, Cassidy Turley leasing broker Phil Thomas said. It will also lease about 3,000 square feet on the building's ground floor for use as a performance studio to host talent planning to play other venues during tour stops in D.C.
