Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed news/talk anchor Pete Mundo as Assistant Program Director and On-Air Host, Mornings, for News Talk
KCMO 710 AM / 103.7 FM in Kansas City, MO.
Mundo started his radio career at KWOX/KMZE in Woodward, OK, and was ultimately named news and sports director for the stations. He was Sports & News Director for Omni Media Group in Woodward, OK. His move from the Midwest to New York City in 2013 included opportunities with WCBS-AM, CBS Sports Radio and WFAN-AM/FM as a freelance anchor and host. During his time in NYC, he has consistently hosted national shows on FOX News Radio and CBS Sports Radio Network to over 300 affiliates. Mundo holds a BBA degree from the Villanova University School of Business.
