Middays on KIRO 710 AM ESPN Seattle and the Seattle Sports Radio Network will have a revamped look starting next week.
A new show, "Justin and Gee," will air from 10 a.m. to noon and premier Thursday, with Justin Myers and Gee Scott serving as hosts. Myers has co-hosted "The Nightwatch" and produced "Bob and Groz" on the station since last July, while Scott comes from the popular "The Barbershop" show.
On Monday, Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby will be joined by Tom Wassell from noon to 3 p.m. for "Bob, Groz and Tom." Wassell has co-hosted "The Nightwatch" and produced several 710 ESPN Seattle shows since joining the station three years ago.
"I'm thrilled to add Justin, Gee and Tom to our midday lineup," said Mike Salk, 710 ESPN Seattle program director and host. "These changes only strengthen 710 ESPN Seattle as the destination for Seattle sports radio."
Nights on 710 will also sound different, with "The Barbershop," featuring co-hosts Scott, former Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant and ex-Husky running back Terry "T-Holla" Hollimon, moving up to a 7-9 p.m. timeslot. "The Barbershop" was voted 'Best Podcast' for Evening Magazine's 2014 'Best of Western Washington' list.
