Chicago Radio: Peter Bowen To Replace Donna Baker At Cumulus

Cumulus announces that it has promoted Donna Baker to Midwest Regional Vice President. Baker rises from her position as Vice President/Market Manager for Cumulus Chicago. In her new role, Baker will oversee Cumulus’ station operations in Kansas City, Minneapolis, and Des Moines, and will be based in Kansas City. Baker has previously served Cumulus as Vice President/Market Manager for the company’s Houston and Kansas City stations.

We are excited for her to grow with Cumulus as she takes on increased responsibilities in her new role as Midwest Regional Vice President.”

Concurrently, Cumulus has announced that 20-year Chicago radio veteran Peter Bowen has been named Vice President/Market Manager for Cumulus Chicago.

Bowen joins Cumulus from CBS Radio, where he was Senior Vice President/Director of Sales for CBS Radio’s six radio stations in Los Angeles. Prior to that, Bowen worked for CBS Radio Chicago for 16 years, serving as Senior Vice President/General Manager of WBBM-FM and WJMK-FM, and as Vice President/Director of Sales for CBS Radio’s Chicago stations.

Bowen will oversee four stations for Cumulus, including news/talk WLS 890 AM, Classic Hits WLS 94.7 FM, Classic Rock WLUP 97.9 FM and Alternative WKQX 101.1 FM.
