Andrew Harms |
Harms, who starts on March 16, fills the void left with the departure of Trey Morgan from the station last month. It's a reunion for Harms and ALT 98.7 PD Mike Kaplan, as they previously worked together at Modern Rock KNDD/Seattle.
Additionally, Harms will also continue on as Director of Music Programming/on-air host for P. Diddy's video network, Revolt.
"Andrew is the ultimate creative partner to have on the team. It’s really fortunate our worlds are aligning again – everyone here is going to love Andy's passionate, positive and driven-to-win outlook, said Kaplan."
"Over the last six years I've had two bosses, Mike Kaplan and Diddy, both are smart, tough and among the best at what they do – it's just that one has $500 million and the other does not," said Harms.
"When a guy who lives the life, talks the talk and can string a sentence together that means something special to our audience arrives on your doorstep, you take that opportunity and grab them, stated Andrew Jeffries, iHeartMedia Los Angeles SVP of Programming. "Harms has been lending some behind the scenes help and we are thrilled to bring his talents onboard."
