D/FW Radio: Talker Ben Ferguson Leaving WBAP-AM For TV

Ben Ferguson
A little more than three years after taking over the 9-11 a.m. slot at WBAP 820 AM, the daily Ben Ferguson Show has left the building, apparently by choice.

Ferguson’s syndicated national show will air on Sunday, according to the Star-Telegram.

Ferguson joined WBAP after the departure of long-running host Mark Davis in 2012 (Davis quickly joined KSKY 660 AM).

It's believe Ferguson is headed for a new TV venture.

Ferguson, who made his mark at age 13 when he b ecame the youngest radio talk-show host in the country, has long been a TV-friendly personality, appearing regularly locally on KDFW/Channel 4 segments that will continue airing at 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, and in breaking-news situations) and nationally across the cable-news board, on Fox News Channel, CNN, MSNBC. For the past two years, he has been a CNN political commentator.

Thank you to #dfw for an amazing 3 years! I am excited about some new things I will tell you about ASAP! You can still hear my national show on WBAP every Sunday night from 7-9 P.M.
