YouTube TV is adding two Bloomberg Media channels—Bloomberg TV+ for 24-hour live business news in 4K and Bloomberg Originals for series and documentaries—as part of the base plan, marking the first distribution deal between the companies.
Variety reports the additions come amid a heated carriage dispute between Google and Disney, which last week warned YouTube TV subscribers that ESPN, ABC, and other networks could be dropped if no renewal is reached.
Bloomberg TV+ becomes YouTube TV’s first 24-hour news channel in 4K UHD; both new channels are included in the $82.99 monthly base package, which delivers live and on-demand content from over 100 networks.
YouTube TV, the largest internet-delivered pay TV service in the U.S., is estimated to have more than 10 million subscribers.
