Bonneville International has promoted popular afternoon host Shawn Patrick to Program Director of Country 98.5 KYGO, effective immediately, as part of a broader set of internal advancements aimed at strengthening the Denver cluster's on-air lineup and leadership.
Patrick, who joined KYGO in 2022, will continue hosting afternoons while overseeing programming strategy for the station, reporting to Director of Operations Brian Michel.
In a related move, Michael “Big Mic” Buhrman, executive producer of KYGO's morning show since 2022, rises to Assistant Program Director for both KYGO and sister station Adult Contemporary 101.1 KOSI.

These promotions highlight Bonneville's commitment to internal talent development in its Denver market, where KYGO ranks as the top country station and KOSI delivers real music variety to a loyal audience.
The changes come amid ongoing efforts to drive ratings and community connections, building on recent successes like KYGO's $702,551 St. Jude Radiothon fundraiser earlier this year.
Bonneville Denver, part of the company's portfolio of 23 radio stations across six markets, operates KYGO and KOSI alongside sports outlets 104.3 The Fan and 1600 The Zone. The cluster emphasizes local content, digital innovation, and events to connect with Colorado's vibrant communities nestled against the Rocky Mountains.
