L-A Radio: KLOS Adds Nik Carter To Line-Up

KLOS 95.5 FM has announced an all-new afternoon drive show, welcoming Nik Carter as the new p.m. drive host. 

Carter, who has spent most of his on-air time at stations in New York and Boston, also has national exposure via VH1 Classic and SiriusXM. He is known for his dynamic energy, sharp wit, and engaging personality, making him a great fit for KLOS's music-driven direction.

Carter is a recipient of Billboard Magazine’s “Major Market Modern Rock Radio Personality of the Year” and has been nominated for numerous Radio and Records awards. His addition to KLOS is expected to bring an electrifying vibe to the afternoon audience

Carter has had an impressive career in radio. 

Most recently, he served as a host of “Feedback” on SiriusXM’s Music Talk “Volume” channel. He began his career at WFNX Boston and had a brief stint in mornings at WDGE Providence in 1995/96. Carter then joined WBCN Boston, where he hosted afternoons for nine years until 2004. He continued his career at “92.3 K-Rock” WXRK New York, hosting afternoons and middays until 2009. Carter also hosted afternoons on the short-lived AAA 101.9 WRXP New York and has been the imaging voice for numerous stations, including WNEW New York, WBOS Boston, WDRC Hartford, WXRT Chicago, and many national brands. Additionally, he served as a host for VH1 Classic.
