Fresno Radio: KOKO Is Now Jammin' 94.3 FM


Big Broadcasting’s KOKO-FM in Fresno, California has announced a is move to a new groove following its switch to Rhythmic-oriented Jammin’ 94.3 FM.

Jammin’ 94.3 Fresno’s Old School and Throwbacks’ station features a blend of classic and contemporary R&B from the 70s to the 2000s. The music covers artists such as Usher, Keith Sweat and BeyoncĂ©, and features R&B music that listeners know and love, combined with the very best sounds of today.

Big Broadcasting, Inc. owner and legendary air personality, Art Laboe’s syndicated radio program “The Art Laboe Connection” will continue to air Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight and on Sundays from 6 p.m. to midnight on Jammin’ 94.3.

The station is being programmed by legendary L.A. programmer, Mike Marino, who successfully launched the Old School and Throwbacks format at KHHT/Los Angeles, KJHM/Denver and KMRJ/Palm Springs.

Mike Marino said, “Our unique blend of old school and R&B throwbacks super serves an adult female audience ignored by other contemporary and gold-based radio stations in the market. Passion levels for this music is off the charts. Fresno will get the ‘feels’ from Jammin.”

KOKO looking for a share of Cumulus Media’s own Rhythmic Oldies KMGV Mega 97.9 FM.
