Philly Radio: Alexa Gets A Show On WBEN-FM

Beasley Media Group has announced as part of the launch of the new WBEN 95.7 FM skill on Amazon Echo, “Alexa” will guest DJ on the station this Friday August 25th from 2pm to 6pm in Philadelphia.

“The Alexa Show on 95.7 BEN FM” will present a great variety of music on the station in a way that only she can do! In addition, Alexa will giveaway Amazon Echo Dots during her on-air shift.

“Beasley is rolling out Alexa Skills for all of our stations nationwide and this is a creative example of how we are promoting it to our audience on BEN FM,” said Beasley Media Group Executive Vice President of Programming Justin Chase.

“We’re very excited about the 95.7 BEN FM Skill going live on Amazon Echo,” said BEN FM Program Director Chuck Damico. “We thought having “Alexa” do an air shift and give away some Amazon Echo Dots is a really fun way to help launch the BEN FM skill and introduce it to our audience.”

Beasley Media Group recently partnered with SonicAi to make it easier for its listeners to play its radio stations’ streams and access on-demand content at home and at-work with innovative multi-command skills for Amazon Echo smart speaker systems across most of the company’s 63 stations over the upcoming months.
