Las Vegas Radio: CBS Radio's "SPF" Expands To 2 Nights
CBS RADIO’s “SPF” (“SUN.POOL.FUN.”) has expanded to two music-filled nights with GRAMMY Award-winning band Linkin Park kicking off the festivities on Friday, May 19 at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The band’s performance at “SPF” is the same day their highly anticipated seventh studio album, One More Light, is released wide. The following night, Saturday, May 20, the party moves poolside when DNCE, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Derulo, Niall Horan and Post Malone perform at Boulevard Pool inside The Cosmopolitan. Doors open at 8:00 PM on both nights.
Linkin Park announced the band’s “SPF” performance across CBS RADIO’s local stations KLUC-FM, KMXB-FM and KXTE-FM Tuesday afternoon.
Mike Shinoda, co-lead vocalist and producer, Linkin Park, added, “Looking forward to playing this awesome show and celebrating the release of our new album, One More Light, with our fans in Vegas.”
A range of up-and-coming pop artists have performed at the previous two “SPF” shows, including Alessia Cara, Fifth Harmony and Kygo. This marks Jason Derulo’s second performance at ‘SPF.’ He returns to the CBS RADIO stage after thrilling audiences at the show’s debut.
For fans outside of the Vegas area, CBS RADIO’s Radio.com is hosting a national sweepstakes, awarding one lucky listener the chance to win a pair of tickets to each night of “SPF.” The prize package also includes roundtrip airfare for the winner and a guest, two nights at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and a chance to meet DNCE. Consumers can enter the sweepstakes through April 28 at http://www.radio.com/sweepstakes. In addition, tickets for both nights will be available to win by listening to CBS RADIO’s Top 40 and Hot A/C stations in participating markets.
“SPF” attendees and fans are encouraged to post about the show using the hashtag #SPFvegas2017. Follow CBS RADIO on Twitter @CBSRadio and Facebook.
