Fresno Radio: KMJ Listener Donates Car To Cancer Victim

NewsTalk KMJ  580 AM / 105.9 FM has announced that a very generous and loyal listener has donated her car to a man who’s only source of transportation was stolen last weekend.

The Ward family of Fresno heard the plight of Wilson Odom of Tulare on KMJ’s Morning News.

Mr. Odom’s SUV was stolen on Saturday, leaving the family of 9 with no vehicle and he needs to drive to Fresno regularly for cancer treatment.

Mrs. Ward called KMJ and offered to give her 2003 Toyota Matrix to the Odom’s.  A few hours later, KMJ’s Philip Teresi and Liz Kern handed the keys over the very grateful Odom family.

“Merry Christmas and God bless”, Mr. Odom told KMJ listeners as tears streamed down his face.
