Manchester VT Radio: WGIR To Host Vets Radiothon

In a state-wide, patriotic show of support for veterans, service members and families, Veterans Count, a program of Easter Seals NH, will take to the airwaves in a Radio-thon March 25 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on WGIR 610 AM and iHeartRadio.com.

The radio-thon, presented by Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program, will feature 12 hours about the challenges faced by military families and how Veterans Count and other organizations provide support.

Additionally, the radio-thon will include testimonials from clients, sponsor recognition, celebrity endorsements and check presentations.

It will be hosted by Jack Heath, will be broadcast live on Manchester’s WGIR-AM 610 and Rochester’s News Radio 96-7. Listeners not in the coverage area for these two stations will be able to access the broadcast online at iHeartRadio.com.

The Radio-thon offers on-air and on-line sponsorship opportunities for local businesses, including three remaining hourly supporting sponsorships for $5,000 each.
