Billings Radio: 2 Morning Personalities Suing Connoisseur Media

Michael, Kaitlyn
Two Billings radio personalities claim they were blacklisted from the air by their past employer.

According to The Independent-Record, Michael Foth and Kaitlyn Stryjewski are suing Connoisseur Media for allegedly blacklisting the two from working at rival radio broadcaster Townsquare Media.

Foth and Stryjewski were hosts of the “Michael and Kaitlyn Show” on KPLN Planet 106.7 FM until Jan. 21.

In their civil lawsuit filed March 11 in Federal District Court, Foth and Stryjewski say they resigned from Connoisseur to host a morning show on Townsquare station KKBR 97.1 FM “Pop Crush.”

However, after leaving Connoisseur, Foth and Stryjewski said they were informed by Townsquare that the deal was off. The radio personalities allege that Connoisseur’s chief executive officer Jeffrey Warshaw had contacted Townsquare to discuss “the negatives of hiring each other’s company’s employees."

They are seeking $1 million in damages, according to the civil cover sheet filed with the lawsuit.
